Dr. Syed is originally from Florida and completed his training in Family Medicine in Boise, ID. During his training he found a passion for broad spectrum care, including prenatal care, adult inpatient medicine, outpatient clinic, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. Most recently, he is completing subspecialty training in addiction medicine at the University of Utah. He hopes to practice the full spectrum of medicine with a focus on rural/urban underserved populations. He has two orange cats which share one brain-cell. During his free time he enjoys road biking, scuba/free diving, camping, and hiking.
