The Children’s Center is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to perform all front desk, office support and clerical duties as needed. 


  • Answering the telephone
  • Scheduling for multiple clinicians
  • Greeting and checking in clients, visitors and volunteers
  • Updating and verifying patient information
  • Providing intake information for referral calls
  • Working closely with other front office staff and clinicians
  • Data entry

The Children's Center is the recognized local expert in treatment related to childhood trauma for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We offer a range of services based upon the mental health needs of each child and family, including outpatient family and group therapy, and therapeutic preschool services.   • Minimum one year of reception experience working with multi-line phones preferred
  • Prior experience working in a medical office preferred
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Dependable, organized, with a friendly and professional personality
  • Basic knowledge of office machines such as fax machine, copier, printers, etc.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must pass a criminal background screening annually 


9 am – 6 pm Monday through Friday. 


$12-13/hour DOE
