The Children’s Center is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide push-in treatment model to Therapeutic Preschool Program (TPP) groups.  Clientele includes children with severe emotional and behavioral problems, early childhood trauma, and children with autism spectrum disorders.  


Provide consultation and modeling on how to encourage language development for the entire group and for individual children with specific needs. Collaborate with clinicians, parents, and Therapeutic Preschool Specialist’s (TPSs) to ensure that each child’s language development is sufficient to engage in the group therapeutic process. Provide individual speech-language therapy and evaluation in select cases.  


Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology with state license and ASHA certification. Clinical experience with children birth to age six and their families One-year experience conducting trainings and collaborating with other professionals outside speech-language pathology field Experience working with the preschool age population This position will be required to travel between the downtown SLC and Kearns locations 


The Children’s Center is a private, non-profit community agency that provides comprehensive mental health care to children and their families across the socioeconomic spectrum.  We offer a range of services based upon the mental health needs of each child and family, including outpatient family and group therapy, as well as therapeutic preschool services.
